Assia, a researcher and coordinator for the Women’s Security Index (WSI) at Isha L’Isha. Assia is a Russian-speaking journalist, researcher, group facilitator, and social activist. Assia initiated and presented the TV program Parashat Ha-Shavua at RTVI- the international Russian-speaking TV channel, has created and facilitated Kushiya, a unique Beit Midrash for Russian-speaking women, has facilitated dialogue groups between Palestinians and Jews, and has co-founded FORA movement – Russian-speaking feminist women. She holds an M.A. in conflict resolution. She lives in Haifa.
