Bat Galim, the Chairwoman of SonShine, Chairwomen of the Central Ziononist Archives, an educator and public activist, working to promote connections in the Israeli society and to promote Jewish Peoplehood awareness and establish the connection between Israel and the Jewish communities in the diaspora. She has 20 years of experience in the formal and informal education systems and lectures in various places in Israel and abroad and is a part of promoting various initiatives relating to unity in the Israeli society and Jewish diaspora. A member of board of directors, a co-founder and co-leader of Unity Day, Jerusalem Unity Prize for Israel Unity, a member of Our Common Destiny Forum on behalf of Genesis Philanthropy Group and The Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and author of “Expecting My Child-Longings of a Mother”. Bat Galim holds a B.A.
in political science and in Jewish history from Bar Ilan University, an M.A. in educational administration from the Center for Academic Studies in Or Yehuda and an alumnus of Rashut HaRabim Beit Midrash (a school for religious studies) of Herzog
College. She lives in Talmon.
