Boaz Giladi, an educator who has extensive experience in teaching and managing educational systems and currently serves as the general manager of Midreshet Ma’amakim, which operates a network of religious high schools. In addition, he established and continues to volunteer as director of the Metzulot Association, which works to make the world of water sports accessible to youth at risk and special need populations in Israel. In the past, he was engaged in informal education programs in Israel and in the United States, established a school for dropout students in the north, ran elementary and high schools, and served as director of education in the Merom Ha’Galil regional council. Boaz holds a B.A. in Israeli Studies and Archeology with honors from Bar Ilan University, an M.A. in Educational System Administration from Tel Aviv University, and has completed many courses, including a directors’ course. In the Army he served as an officer in the Anti-Terrorism Unit. He is married, a father of four, and lives in Hoshaya.
