Doron Zektzer, an activist and social entrepreneur who is fighting every day to recover from a severe accident in the desert that occurred in April 2019 and to return to a normal life in a state of complete disability. In the past, he worked in the high-tech field at SAP and then turned to where is heart was, the social sphere. He managed volunteer fundraising campaigns for medical treatments for 20 years using a methodology that he developed, set up a social business venture called The Social Mall, and worked for the Zionism 2000 organization in the management of a social business venture of gardening in the city of Ashdod for formerly ultra-Orthodox youth. He served in the Armored Corps during military service and in 24 years of reserve duty until his injury. Doron holds a degree in computer engineering from the Jordan Valley College. He is married, a father of two children and lives in Kibbutz Hatzor.
