Elad Shoshan, the Consul of Israel to the Southwest United States. Prior to that he served as the CEO of Zikaron BaSalon – a social venture that offers a new, meaningful way to commemorate the Holocaust, a role that earned him with Presidential Award for Outstanding Volunteerism. Previously, he served as the CEO of Momentum and led innovation initiatives with the JDC, Tel Aviv Municipality, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Rothschild Caesarea Foundation. Elad is also the co-founder of NOX Group, a food and beverage company, specializing in culture and hospitality. Following his release as a commander in the Special Forces Yahalom Unit, he co-founded Yahalom Foundation, the unit’s non-profit veterans’ organization. He also founded Guests of Honor, a global initiative that organizes holiday dinners for Holocaust survivors, which earned him the Edmond de Rothschild outstanding entrepreneur award. Elad holds an honorary B.A. in business and finance from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya and currently serves as a board member in several social organizations. He lives in Tel Aviv.
