Zippora (Faigy), the Director of the Supervising Team for the Girls’ Elementary Schools in the ultra-Orthodox district of the Ministry of Education. Prior to that, she was the General Superintendent. In the past, she served in various positions in the ultra-Orthodox education system, focusing on instruction, remedial learning, and educational counseling. She is involved in diverse social initiatives within the ultra-Orthodox community across many areas, including education, welfare, employment, and dialogues within the Haredi society as well as with the wider Israeli society. She actively seeks ways to implement necessary changes while preserving what is good and beautiful in the community she lives in. Faigy holds a B.A. in special education with certification in educational counseling and an M.A. in conflict management and resolution from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She lives in Jerusalem.
