Lior Benisti, a social entrepreneur who founded and established social projects and organizations. In the past, he served as chairman of the Association of Youth Centers in Israel; founded and managed the Youth Center in Lod; one of the founders and a member of the board of directors of the Jindas Association for Urban Renewal in Lod; one of the founders of the student communities in Lod. Before that, he was active in the student world as chairman of the union at Oranim College, a member of the board of directors of the Students’ Association in Israel, and a member of the professional team of the European Students’ Union (ESU). He founded and manages the Kanfei Yona project – documenting the heritage of Ethiopian Jewry. Lior holds a BA in history and education from Oranim College. Lives in Lod.
