Maha Abu Katesh, in charge of post-primary education in the Arab sector at the Jerusalem Municipality. Prior to this position, Maha was the headmaster at Mukkaber High School, an organizational consultant at the Mosaica non-profit organization, and the deputy principal and headmaster of Kol Israel Haverim School for the Deaf. Maha was also the director of an educational treatment center for students with hearing impairments in East Jerusalem, a lecturer at David Yellin College, and a youth facilitator (for Jews and Arabs) in Neve Shalom. Additionally, she founded and coordinated an educational club in Abu Gosh. She holds a B.A. in special education and primary education from David Yellin College, an M.A. in hearing impairments from Tel Aviv University, and an M.A. in education policy and management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She studied management consultancy at Bar-Ilan University and group facilitation at an institute for certifying group facilitators. She lives in Abu Ghosh.
