Menachem Shapira, the Deputy Mayor of Bnei Brak, heads a municipal department on behalf of the Degel HaTorah party, and is the director of municipal and national elections in the city. As part of his public activities, he manages and accompanies about 100 representatives of Degel HaTorah in 45 local authorities and regional councils, including deputy mayors and council members, formulates coalition agreements, and monitors their implementation. In the past, he served as an advisor to the vice president of Clalit Health Services, a member of the board of directors of the Agudat Israel network of kindergartens, and a member of the city management of Modi’in Illit. In addition, he initiated a non-profit project to provide housing solutions for young couples. He lives in Bnei Brak.
