Mison, founder and director of the Sakhnin Community Center. She is the founder of the MAA Association of Arab Single Women and managed it for 10 years. She is an entrepreneur and activist in the field of women and youth, a volunteer lecturer on women in Arab society and a facilitator in the field of building communities and social business enterprises such as a youth orchestra, a women’s cafe in Sakhnin, a center for extra-curricular activities, and more. Mison held a managerial role in the education system and was a teacher for over twenty years. At the same time she worked as a lecturer for teachers, a district instructor in special education, and an integration coordinator for students with disabilities, and she led a center for experts in the field of visual impairment and blindness. Mison has a teaching certificate and holds a bachelor’s degree in special education and sociology and a master’s degree in social and cultural leadership from the University of Haifa. She is also a graduate of the Arab -Jewish Leadership Program in the Galilee from CMU and is a doctoral student in humanities with a specialization in gender, at Ben-Gurion University. She was born in Sakhnin.
