Moshe (Kinley) Tur-Paz

MK, the Yesh Atid party

Moshe (Kinley) Tur-Paz is an MK for the Yesh Atid party and an educator whose book “Eyes in the Back – Six Views on Education” was published in 2019 by Yedioth Ahronoth. He served as director of the Jerusalem Education Administration and as district director and member of the board of the Ministry of Education. He served as director general of the Zionist Council, managed the Kadima Mada education network on behalf of the World ORT Organization and the education network of the Religious Kibbutz Movement. Kinley was a Judaism teacher, a high school principal and a lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He received B.A. and M.A. degrees with distinction in Jewish history from the Hebrew University and a teacher’s certificate from Herzog College. He is a lieutenant colonel in the reserves, married to Shlomit, a a father of five, and a member of Kibbutz Kfar Etzion. Kinley is a co-founder of the Co.Lab initiative “Educators’ Bridge,” which fosters partnerships between secular and ultra-Orthodox educators.
