Adv. Nidal Othman, Director of the forum of Arab civil society organizations for utilization of government resources; and founder of Strategies for Social Change, an organization that promotes services in the field of strategies for social change. Former deputy mayor of Tamra and holds the welfare, culture, and informal education portfolios שמג the Chair of the community center administration. Nidal is an organizational consultant, guiding and advising civil society organizations and local authority teams. Previously he served as director of projects and deputy director of the Mossawa Center, and director of the Coalition Against Racism in Israel. In addition, he writes articles for Arabic and Hebrew media in the fields of civil rights and culture, published a weekly sports and young adult magazine, and presented a TV show. Nidal is a social and political activist and one of the leaders of the People’s Committee of Tamra. He holds a BA in international law from the Institute of International Relations, Kyiv, and an MA in organization management, specializing in organizational consulting (awaiting approval) from Ono Academic College. Married and father of twin girls. Lives in Tamra.
