Ori Shoham, founder and CEO of Migrash Beiti (Home Base), a non-profit that offers rehabilitative therapy to homeless people using sports as a therapeutic tool. Previously he served as volunteer chair of Migrash Beiti’s board of directors, as program liaison of cadets for local government, and as director of the Hillel’s Tel Aviv branch. Before taking on social activism roles Ori served in political positions as a parliamentary aide, a minister’s advisor, and a faction director. He took part in the international Ashoka organization’s program for training social entrepreneurs in the Middle East. He holds a BA in health sciences from The Hebrew University, and two MA degrees, in public policy from Tel Aviv University and in business administration from Reichman University. Lives in Tel Aviv with his wife and three children.
