Orna, an expert on issues of optimal and safe use of digital technologies. she is the founder and former manager of NETICA in the Israeli Internet Association, where she promotes optimal use of the web such as promoting awareness, creating an ecosystem that will promote change, activating a hotline to support people hurt by the internet, and leading campaigns on these issues. As part of Netica activities, Orna established the Web Spaces community, where experts from many areas (education, mental health, parenting, and the web) exchange knowledge, create a common language, promote connections and partnerships, and lead activities for the benefit of the public. In addition, Orna has been leading a joint venture for the National Insurance Children’s Fund and the Internet Association on cyberbullying among youth at risk. The project includes 13 different programs, some aimed at local communities and some at various nonprofit organizations dedicated to the subject. She lives in Kfar-Saba.
