Racheli Hazon Tesler, Director of Educational Activities at Shira Banki’s Way. An activist and social entrepreneur engaged in the development of communication models in the public sphere aimed at familiarity with the other and strengthening moderation in Israeli society. Previously she led the Jerusalem Movement, a civil society movement for the advancement and prosperity of the various communities in Jerusalem. Racheli is among the founders of the Meeting Point project, discussion circles that have been held in Zion Square since the summer of 2015, during which Shira was murdered at the Jerusalem Pride Parade. She also leads the project, Eicha to Create Discourse – Controversy Builds Society, in which discussion circles are held every year on the night of Tisha B’Av around controversial issues. Racheli holds a BA in theater from Tel Aviv University and an MA in communication and culture from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She is a member of the Jerusalem Model Community for Young Entrepreneurs. Lives in Kvutzat Yavneh, a cooperative religious kibbutz. Married to Yahav and mother of Gali and Yarden.
