Racheli Kaplan, Chief of Staff at ANU – Museum of the Jewish People in Tel Aviv. In this role she leads cross-organizational strategies while developing partnerships and promoting international programing. Racheli has been active in the field of Israeli Judaism and building bridges to world Jewry since serving in the Sar-El IDF unit. Prior to joining ANU, Racheli served for four years as a Shlicha in Toronto, Canada on behalf of the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Union for Reform Judaism. During this period, she also joined the Israeli Consulate’s team and the Branding Israel Project, overseeing outreach initiatives aimed at expanding support for the Jewish community and Israel. In 2022 Racheli began serving as a board member of The Ethiopian Jewry Heritage Center. Racheli holds a BA in International Relations and Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an MA in International Public Law from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a second MA from The Ruderman Program for American Jewish Studies in Haifa University. Although born and raised in Tel Aviv, Racheli dreams of returning to Jerusalem with her partner Adrian.
