Rawan, a fereelancer group facilitator and project manager. She served as co-director of Sadaka Reut – Arab Jewish Youth Partnership. Prior to that position, Rawan coordinated the organization’s Culture of Peace youth project. For the last ten years, she has been active in various civil society organizations and movements, such as being a board member of the nonprofit System Ali, a board member of Zazim (a campaigning community for social and political change) and chairwoman of the Academic Union in Nazareth. She has taken leading roles in local struggles in Jaffa, including through the Hithabrut-Tarabut movement, that aims to build a popular left through joining struggles of different oppressed groups. Additionally, she works as a facilitator in Bar Ilan University and the NYU Campus in Tel Aviv University. She lives in Jaffa.
