Rawyah Chandaqlu, the Director of the Emergency Task Force for Combating Crime and Violence in Arab Society, under the National Committee for the Heads of Arab Authorities.
Previously, she managed Arab society activities in the Eshet Hail program within the Be-Atzmi (“On My Own”) organization. Before that, she was responsible for municipal and regional development in the Haifa Bay Municipal Cluster, established and managed the Economic Development and Partnerships Unit in the Arraba Municipality, and worked as a community lawyer in the social sector, advocating for the rights of the Arab minority and women’s rights, particularly those of Palestinian women.
Rawyah is an entrepreneur and lecturer specializing in Arab society and local governance. She holds a B.A. from Netanya Academic College and an M.A. in Administration and Public Policy for Local Government from the University of Haifa, as part of the Local Government Cadet Program. She has written position papers and articles on various topics and currently lives in Haifa.
