Rotem Eshed-Lavi, VP of Programs at the Kivunim non-profit, which works to create greater equality for people with disabilities through the development and operation of innovative programs that promote independence and autonomous life in the community. Rotem is a member of the board of directors at the YouTurn non-profit for the integration of prisoners into society, and previously volunteered at Hoshen, the LGBTQ community’s education and change organization. She also established IGY groups, the gay pride organization for youth, in the northern periphery. Rotem holds a BA in alternative and special education from Tel-Hai Academic College, an MA in non-profit and social organization management from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a teaching certificate in citizenship studies from Oranim College of Education. Rotem is also a graduate of the social leadership program at the Mandel Leadership Center in the North. Lives in Nahalal. Married to Nofar and mother of three children.
