Shirley Yuval Yair

Psychologist, Author, and Musician

Shirley Yuval Yair, a psychologist, author, and musician. She has a private clinic, facilitates workshops, and lectures on positive psychology. She works with the largest organizations in the Israeli market aiming to promote the mental and physical health of both individuals and organizations. Previously Shirley taught at IDC Herzliya and as part of the Katedra lecture series. She writes a regular expert opinion column in Ynet (Toolkit for Life) and has a podcast, “Enjoying the Journey”, through which she holds in-depth discussions with key figures in Israeli society. Shirley has written nine bestselling children’s books, including the Real Heroes series about positive psychology in family life that she co-authored with Dr. Tal Ben Shahar. Several of her books were made into children’s plays and performed in theaters. Shirley is also a graduate of the Rimon school of music and integrates singing and music in her lectures. She has an MA in clinical psychology from Tel Aviv University and a teaching and directing certificate from Kibbutzim College. Married and a mother of three, she lives in Hod Hasharon.
