Shmuel Rozengarten

Administrative Manager, Beitar Ilit branch Maccabi-Dent

Shmuel Rozengarten, administrative manager of Maccabi-Dent in Beitar Illit, works for the benefit of senior citizens in Israel, on two paths of activism: he is the founder and partner of Kan Bishvilam, a nonprofit organization that operates to relieve the loneliness of senior citizens and to enhance the safety of their homes and lives, and he is the founder of a volunteer project to benefit lone senior citizens in the United Hatzalah Organization. Previously, Shmuel founded an ultra-Orthodox community relations program at MATI Jerusalem and managed the kindergartens of the Shuvu schools’ network, where he was also responsible for informal educational activities. Shmuel has a certificate of higher Torah education from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, and he is a certified organizational consultant and mediator. He is currently studying for his B.A. in education at Orot Israel College. He is married, has eight children, and lives in Modiin Ilit. Shmuel believes that every person has something to give and that there is something to learn from each and every person.
