Shula Mola

Shula Mula, a researcher in the fields of education, activism and communication and postdoctoral fellow at the School of Education at the Hebrew University. Shula is an advisor to the board of directors in Gesher – the Multicultural Film Fund and as a council member at Kol Zchut. Prior to that, she worked as a teacher training instructorteaching Instructor and curriculum developer at the Center for Educational Technology. Shula was also a member of the research and development team at the Avney Rosha Leadership Institute. She serves on the board of Gesher Multicultural Film Fund, and as a Council Member of Kol-Zchut and of the Justice Ministry’s Anti-Racism Department. In the past, she served as the CEO and Chairperson of the Association for Ethiopian Jews (AEJ) and was on the board of the ‘Steinhardt Family Foundation’. Shula is one of the founders of and key activists of Mothers on Guard – a group of mothers who protest police brutality against youth of Ethiopian origin. Shula holds a B.A. and an M.A. in education from the Hebrew University, and has recently completed her Ph.D requirements in communications from Ben Gurion University. She is a graduate of the Mandel Institute Educational Leadership School. She lives in Jerusalem. She is a co-founder of the CoLab Initiative: Sem Ana Werk – Black TV series.
