Sigal Peretz-Yahalomi

CEO, non-profit organization Akim

Sigal is the CEO of the non-profit organization Akim Israel and a member of the administration board of Yeholot non-profit organization, established by the Rashi Foundation, that works to increase the Bagrut examinees’ percentage in the periphery. Prior to that she was a vice-CEO of Education and Welfare in Bat-Yam Municipality and a director in Israel Association of Community Centers. In the past, she was a journalist and worked to promote youth and was co-founder of BeZavta initiative – special oriented study groups accessible to people with intellectual disabilities that operated throughout Israel. She holds a B.A. in criminology and education and an M.A. in social sciences from Bar-Ilan University. She lives in Tel Aviv.
