Yael Elharar, Director of the Budget Division and in charge of occupational diversity at the Geological Institute in the Ministry of Energy. From October 2023, she was seconded to the Prime Minister’s Office for a year for a national system for the treatment of evacuees and was responsible for leading and encompassing the government’s treatment of evacuees from the south and north to the Herzliya, Ra’anana and Shafiyim areas. Yael is a social activist who works to promote Haredi employment in the civil service and voluntarily manages a community of Haredi civil servants; serves as a director of the Mei Shemesh municipal corporation in the city of Beit Shemesh; and is a co-founder of the CoLab initiative “Aiming High” which aims to train Arab and Haredi women for the position of director. Yael holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the Ono Academic College, an M.A. with honors in Government and Public Policy from Bar-Ilan University, and a teaching certificate. She lives in Beit Shemesh.
