Yakir, the director of a cyber product company owned by Toga Networks and one of the founders of Spotinst, a startup company. Prior to that, Yakir served a decade in the IDF in various technological positions. Following Operation Protective Edge and the expansion of the BDS movement around the world, he served as a Shaliach- a Jewish Agency delegate, and established a Hillel branch at George Mason University. In addition, he co-founded Desert Bird, a community for lone soldiers who completed their army service and immigrated to Israel. Yakir holds a B.A. in computer science from the College of Management Academic Studies and a M.A. in law from Bar Ilan University. He lives in Jerusalem.
