Yehudit Shotland, founder of the Urban Renewal Association and Chair of the Safe Renewal Association – a company that heads urban renewal projects on behalf of tenants only, based on the community’s needs, and specializes in the haredi sector. Yehudit volunteers in various urban renewal projects, focusing on the rights of long-time tenants; lectures in professional forums; and promotes renewal procedures in the periphery. In the past she promoted the employment of haredi women in large commercial companies. During Covid, Yehudit was the only female member of the Ministry of Health team for introducing adherence to Covid guidelines in the haredi sector. Yehudit holds a BA in human resource studies at Ariel University and is a graduate of a course for senior female directors by Yahel and the Petah Tikva and Kfar Saba municipalities. Married and mother of five, lives in Bnei Brak.
