Mamanger of Hashofet Stream Park JNF

Yotam, the manager of JNF Hashofet Stream Park. Before that, he was the Deputy Director for Education and Community at the Jerusalem Botanical Garden, and prior to that, he was the director of Hubitus—the hub for environmental and social sustainability at the Botanical Garden. Yotam is a co-founder of two social enterprises in Be’er Sheva: Kolboynik, a collective equipment storeroom, and the Communal Carpentry. He also worked as a director of social business and resource development in the HaReshet program of Eretz-Ir, a nonprofit organization in Be’er Sheva, and he was a young JAFI Shaliach of Habonim Dror Youth Movement in Vancouver, Canada. Yotam holds a B.A. in social work and an M.B.A. in social leadership, both from Ben-Gurion University. Before his army service, he volunteered for a year in community service in Nitzana in the Negev. He served as a combat officer in the paratroopers brigade and as a mental health officer in the reserves. Yotam was born and raised in Kibbutz Yagur, a fourth-generation member of a collective community, and now lives in Tiv’on.
