Yotam, a writer, lawyer, and activist who promotes equal rights for people with disabilities, conducts writing workshops, advises social organizations around the world to promote policy change in the field of people with disability. In the past, he served as CEO of Bizchut non-profit organization and was chairman of several NGO coalitions and was a facilitator in educational programs. He holds a B.A. in law and humanities, an M.A. in gerontology and currently writes a Ph.D on the rights of the disabled and the elderly at the University of Haifa. He lives in Mevo Beitar. Together with other CoLab alumni he Yotam is a co-founder of the “Independent Movement”– promoting the independents of people with disabilities and de-institutionalization. He is also a co-founder of the CoLab initiative: Supporting independence for young adults with disabilities and a co-founder of the CoLab initiative Nothing about us without us.
