Yuval Malchi, the Digital and New Media director of the Israeli Population and Immigration Authority, and an online creative and content creator. Previously he managed the Ministry of Education’s Digital and New Media department, where he developed various digital assets and created hundreds of content components, films, and graphics for digital platforms, in both Hebrew and Arabic, reaching over half a million viewers. Before that, he managed content and new media at Beit Avi Chai in Jerusalem, where he promoted the project “Face. Memory. Day”, an initiative in memory of fallen IDF soldiers and victims of terror attacks through animated videos. In the past he volunteered at Beit Hagalgalim and now volunteers in organizations and non-profits as a social media content management consultant.
Yuval holds a BA in communication and journalism from Ariel University and an MA in communication, journalism, and new media from The Hebrew University. He is a graduate of the pre-military academy at Atzmona, and an active reserve officer. Yuval is a father of four, lives in Jerusalem.
