Zehava, director of the education department at the Lehavim Municipality. Prior to that, she served as the director of Education in Beer-Sheva Municipality and was responsible for the entire education system in the city. Zehava began her educational path as a teacher, educator, coordinator and headmaster in the regional high school Merhavim. After that she developed an educational initiative in Arad that established an educational center for 50 teenage dropouts, an initiative that gained her a national education award. Zehava served as the manager of the education department in Hila Program – supplementing education for young people in need and as head of content and programs area and as the director of the District Training Centre in The Ministry of Education. She is one of the initiators, leaders and developers of the Social Bagrut Program that every graduate of the education system in Israel is required to do. Zehava received her M.A. in management and education from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She lives in Lehavim.
She is a co-founder of the CoLab initiative: Supporting independence for young adults with disabilities
